Having sat vacant for two years with aluminum windows nailed into the openings without concern for the opening size, this split entry home was in need of more than just updating. The kitchen cabinets and appliances had all been removed. Improperly installed roofing had to be reroofed. This home was a diamond in the rough.

The lower level has ten foot ceilings which created an exciting space. The lower bath shower had been improperly installed and as a result had mold that needed to be addressed. Cornice suggested swapping the laundry room and bathroom, which allowed them to create a larger bathroom with a linen closet. The ceilings had been furred down in the lower bedroom, bath, and laundry, so Cornice removed the furring to take advantage of the high ceiling.

Cornice Construction suggested opening up the kitchen and living areas by removing the interior kitchen walls. Creating a great room, this really opened up the living area. Hardwood floors were installed and beautiful cherry cabinets in the kitchen, all three baths and family room wet bar all with granite counter tops.
